It's been such a busy week. We're still recovering from jet lag but there's no rest for us as we went straight into serving our cream teas at Ripley Farmer's Market and then there have been several enquiries about the cakes we have on offer for Christmas orders and a few customers interested in our cozy afternoon teas.

So, first things first: here is what we have on offer in the lead up to Christmas.

We will be at Ripley Farmer's Market on 13th December, at Woking Community Centre providing a pop up cafe for the car boot sale and the Rowbarge shopping day on 27th November. Keep an eye on my Instagram page and Events page as this is where I post my updates.

In January, we'll be having a break, which will give us a chance to update the caravan. The floor really needs fixing and we need to drain the boiler and install a bigger sink. Again, we'll post these videos on Instagram.

So, the cakes available for Christmas orders are:

Christmas fruit cake - made as individual cakes or large cakes, this is a rich fruit cake with fruit peel and glacé cherries covered in almond marzipan and fondant icing. Each cake is individually decorated with a fondant Christmas design £15-40

Yule log - a dark chocolate sponge and milk chocolate buttercream rolled into the traditional log design and decorated with holly. This cake will serve 6. £20

Christmas Battenburg - la firm favourite at MMC. This is a ight green and red chequered almond sponge filled with homemade raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream and covered with pink marzipan and seasonal edible flowers. It will serve 8 people. £30

Mince pies - individual shortcrust pastry pies filled with homemade vegan mincemeat made with rich fruit and nuts, and topped with an orange slice. £10 for 4

All cakes can be vegan or gluten-free if required and can be delivered locally or collected at Ripley Farmer’s Market on 13th December.

In the meantime, enjoy all the Christmas prep. This is the best part of the Christmas period and we can't wait to see all those fairy lights everywhere.
