For extra-special occasions like weddings, anniversarys, birthday parties, christenings, funerals - to name a few - the vintage mobile teashop, waitress service and freshly baked afternoon tea can add that memorable touch to your event. This package includes hire of the vintage teashop, waitress service, and afternoon tea with a range of scones, clotted cream, a range of jams, a range of cakes, sandwiches, endless pots of loose leaf tea and freshly ground coffee. We bring everything with us and take it all away again and clean up at the end of your event.
 
Our prices start at £450 for 10 people and include 3 hours of mobile kitchen hire including set up and clean up; 10 afternoon teas and crockery hire for 10.  Additional hire hours can be added for £50 per hour and afternoon teas can be added for £15 per person. Vintage crockery hire can also be added for £5 per person. We can bring our own linen to decorate your tables but for themed events we can arrange linen hire and locally produced flowers to make your tables look even more gorgeous.  More information is available on our teashop hire page.
 
Example customer: We had a booking for a 60th wedding anniversary for 45 people.  The customers wanted us to park the scone van on their front garden and serve Pimms to their guests as they arrived.  Meanwhile, in the back garden, we set up 45 place settings with vintage crockery, cutlery, cake stands etc.  We also included our own vintage tablecloths and napkins.  They had erected a marquee in the garden and we decorated this with our silk flowers and bunting.  We even created a playlist of the couple's favourite music to play during the tea.  About 30 minutes after the guests' arrival, we served a range of sandwiches and pots of loose leaf tea.  Meanwhile, we prepared pots of cold clotted cream from our caravan fridge and warmed the scones in the caravan oven.  Some of the guests were vegan and so we had prepared some vegan sandwiches, cashew cream and scones.  Following the scones were fondant fancies decorated in pastel colours and topped with handmade fondant roses as requested by customer.  After the meal pots of tea were available and we cleaned everything away.  The customers were delighted to be told that there would be no cleaning up for them to do and after 60 years of marriage we thought that they deserved the break!
