Summer starts here

It’s official, you can take your coat off but leave it nearby just in case!

Sorry for the long blog break but I thought I would fill you in on all things Marvellous Mel this week:

On Sunday we braved the cold at a fabulous funday put on by Woking FC to celebrate the end of season. It was great to see so many men enjoying cream tea with us.

We experimented last weekend with just baking scones and no cakes. No one complained and everyone loved the new scone flavours such as mint and raspberry and absolute favourite date and orange.

Elsie’s GCSEs have now started so I baked some protein bars for her and will be creating an exam tea box this weekend. Protein is key for those hungry brains!

We bought a new oven in preparation for an outdoor private tea party in June. We can also use it for any future bookings.

Tonight I am preparing for Ripley Farmer’s Market. We’ll be there between 9 and 1 tomorrow. Hope to see you there. ❤️
